Meritorious Service: ROSEMARY PIDLYPCHAK
Rosemary “Chick” Pidlypchak

Age 59

Chick (as we fondly know her) has been a member of the Auburn Women's Bowling Association for nearly 40 years. She began her involvement with the game while attending Auburn Community College on a team with her landlady at Cayuga Lanes.

Chick started coaching youth bowlers with Vi Stoddard at Cayuga Lanes over 25 years ago. After Cayuga Lanes burned down in 1988, she moved on to the Falcons helping and coaching with Nancy Jean Barski. When Nancy Jean passed away, Chick took over the Lang Memorial League which was renamed “Nancy's Kids”.

She served as the 2nd vice-president for Auburn Youth Bowling from 1998 to 2004. She became the president in 2004 and still serves in that capacity. She also serves on the Youth Scholarship Committee. She has also supported the AWBA by participating in city and state tournaments, 600 club, 600-700 club events and the women's masters with a 3rd place finish in 1983. She has a career high game of 287 and high series of 686.

Chick's most memorable moments were the years she spent serving with Nancy Jean Barski.

We are proud to induct into the Auburn Women's Bowling Hall of Fame for Meritorious Service Rosemary “Chick” Pidlypchak!
