J ordan Tabone fired a 300 game in the Starlite Lanes Juniors league Saturday morning. He finished with 149 and 156 for a 605 series. He is the first junior to reach perfection since Chris Gomez bowled 300 in the 2008 Byrns Junior Masters. It is believed that Jordan, 13, is the youngest bowler to ever roll 300 in the Auburn junior association. Jordan has been taught by his father, Lou, for the last seven years. The elder Tabone watched in amazement Saturday as his son threw strike after strike. I guess you could say hes had some special handling, since I have tried to show him how to play the game, Lou Tabone said. But I dont pressure Jordan. I show him some things and then just move away. Lou Tabone told Jordan to keep his speed up during his bid for perfection. On the 12th shot, he was a little slow, his father said, but the ball charged back from the outside for a solid strike. It was incredible, said Lou Tabone, who hugged his son after the 300. Lou Tabone is the only bowler to win both the Syracuse (1998) and Auburn Masters (2001). Article submitted by J.T.
